Hemicrania Continua

Hemicrania continua is chronic headache disorder characterized by constant, one-sided head pain that never completely goes away. The pain can vary in intensity but remains present at all times, often with periods of sharper, more severe pain. Along with the persistent headache, those with hemicrania continua may experience symptoms such as tearing of the eye, nasal congestion, or drooping of the eyelid on the affected side.

Paroxysmal hemicrania, on the other hand, is also a one-sided headache but occurs in short, intense bursts rather than being continuous.
