Migraine

is a common neurological disorder affecting over 50 million Americans and is the leading cause of disability among women aged 18-50. It’s typically described as a unilateral throbbing headache with nausea, light, and/or sound sensitivity. However, migraines can vary greatly—attacks may be dull, sharp, or achy, occur on both sides of the head, or even start at the back. These episodes can last anywhere from a few hours to several days.

As someone who also suffers from migraines, I understand the debilitating nature of this pain. That’s why my mission is to help others find relief and freedom from migraines and other headache disorders.

Dr. Cohen offers comprehensive migraine treatment options, including lifestyle adjustments, medications, procedures, and supplements. With a background in primary care, Dr. Cohen is experienced in evaluating and optimizing factors like diet, sleep, anxiety, and mood, all of which can influence the frequency and severity of migraines.

Dr. Cohen is also skilled in migraine procedures, including:

  • Botox injections

  • Facial nerve blocks (trigeminal nerve)

  • Occipital nerve blocks

  • Trigger point injections

  • Sphenopalatine ganglion blocks

  • Calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) monoclonal antibody injections

  • Neuromodulation
